Provita and Pfizer Animal Health have joined forces to organise two farmers’ meetings, the key speaker at each which will be leading veterinarian and cattle lameness expert Roger Blowey. The venues are: The Dunsilly Hotel Antrim, on Tuesday February 22nd and the Silverbirch Hotel, Omagh on Wednesday February 23rd. Each event commences at 7.45pm.
“The meetings represent a tremendous opportunity for local milk producers to hear the latest thinking on how lameness in dairy cattle can be controlled and treated,” confirmed Provita’s Tommy Armstrong.
“Roger Blowey is recognised internationally as one of the world’s leading veterinary practitioners, operating in this field.
“His presentation will address all the factors causing lameness in dairy cows, how these challenges can be addressed and how the problem of lameness can be actively tackled once it arises.”
Both farmers’ meetings will be chaired by Pfizer’s William Sherrard. The other speakers at each venue will be Tommy Armstrong and Pfizer’s Patrick Macfarlane
